Met up with Cousin to have late lunch at ION. We headed to Watami since I was craving for the stone pot rice.
Cousin took a long time to decide on what to eat.
We had some salmon sashimi to share. It was alright. But glad that it wasn’t watery.
Since we were very hungry, we finished the salad almost immediately after it was served. Cousin had miso soup from the set lunch and I only realised that they forgot to serve my miso soup only after we left.
Cousin had the pork katsu (Hire Katsu Tamago Toji Teishoku Set – $10-80++) with rice.
The gravy was very salty, but it’s good with white rice. Cousin couldn’t finish all the meat because the batter was a bit too thick and made her full.
I had the beef rice in stone pot (Ishiyaki Black Pepper Beef with Rice Set – $8.80++).
It was good! There was plenty of beef slices and tasted really yummy with sweet corn.
Next time I will try the Kimchi Nabe.
After lunch we went shopping in ION and bought some clothes from Uniqlo. It felt good to be shopping on a weekday~
